The standard oracle 42 unit (RU) rack uses pre-installed vertical power distribution units (PDUs).
Vertical PDUs allow the 42 RU space in the rack to be used for installing system components. PDUs are always used in pairs. Each power distribution unit (PDU) must be attached to a dedicated facility circuit. Each Oracle FS System component (Pilots, Controllers, and Drive Enclosures) must have its power supplies connected to separate PDU circuits to ensure complete redundancy of power.
