Using the Implementation Monitor
The Implementation Monitor works like Workflow Monitor, giving you a graphical view of an implementation process, with full query and drill-down capability. You use the Implementation monitor to:
- get an overview of a particular setup process and the steps it entails, and zoom in to see more information about sub-processes
- see which steps have already been completed
- see which step is currently in process and who is assigned to complete it
- reassign steps to different users, cancel the process, alter a step's priority, and complete other implementation process management tasks
To open the Implementation Process Monitor:
1. Navigate to the Notifications window, query a task that belongs to the process you want to see, and choose Open.
2. The Notifications window opens to show you more details about the task. Choose Launch Workflow Monitor or Process Monitor to open the Implementation Monitor.
Once you have the Implementation Monitor open, you use it just like any other Workflow monitor. Note that activities with yellow squares correspond to a sub-process that can be opened and inspected further. Use the Zoom In and Zoom Out buttons to look at a sub-process then return to the main process.
Of course, any changes you make using the Process Monitor show up on any user's Notifications window only after the user re-queries the window.
