What Is a Revenue Class Hierarchy?

A revenue class hierarchy is a hierarchical arrangement of revenue classes and their subclasses. You create your revenue class hierarchy with broader revenue classes at the top of the structure, and create subclasses as descendants of each revenue class.

Figure 3 - 6 shows an example of a revenue class hierarchy for Global Computers, Inc. Global's PC and Maintenance revenue classes both have subclasses.
