Changing a Hierarchy
You can change a hierarchy using the same steps to define a new hierarchy (see Defining a Hierarchy). To make retroactive changes, make your changes and save them. Oracle Sales Compensation sets the periods in the hierarchy interval to UNCLASSIFIED. To make non-retroactive changes, create a new interval for the hierarchy, then define the hierarchy for that interval. Oracle Sales Compensation sets the periods in the new interval to UNCLASSIFIED.
