Defining the Discount Option Field

This type of plan element is typically used to compensate sales representatives on revenue achievement while discouraging them from selling products to customers at a higher discounted rate. The discount based calculation can be applied to any type of Revenue Quota or Revenue Non Quota plan element. It compensates for revenue but takes discount into account in creating incentives. If you want compensation to be based on a combination of revenue and discount, you have two types of calculation options.

Note: When the Discount Option = None, it does not take discount into account.

Assume the following transactions.
