Items that use date hierarchy dialog

Use this dialog to specify which items in the business area use a defined hierarchy. For example, if you create a hierarchy: Year - Month - Week - Day, you might want to specify year, month, week, and day items here. When Discoverer users drill on these items, they can use this hierarchy in the drill path.

To do this, select one or more date items from the list of available items in the Business Area and click the right arrow button to move them into the Selected Items pane.

Select the items that use this date hierarchy.

Available items

Use this pull down list to select a business area. Select the items that you want to use the hierarchy from the expandable list below. To select items, move items from the Available items list to the Selected items list.

This list contains items that will use the hierarchy.

Notes

You can select more than one item by pressing the Ctrl key and clicking another item.
