Using Reports Developer and Oracle9iAS, you can design a report that can generate multiple output formats and be distributed to multiple destinations from a single run of the report. In addition, you can create distributions for an entire report, or for individual sections of the report—which can also be driven off your data. For example, in a single run of a report, you can generate HTML output, send a PostScript version to the printer, e-mail any or all sections of the report to every head of department (for as many departments as you have), and generate RTF output for import into Microsoft Word. You can also write and seamlessly plug in additional output destinations such as FAX and FTP. Users or systems administrators can be notified of the report's execution via e-mail, or they may plug in additional notification mechanisms.

With Reports Developer you can:
