The online system might refresh rates for airline reservations every 15 minutes. Because rates for car rentals change less frequently, it might refresh this information once a day. The online system can cache information about vacation packages. Then, users can query the system by selecting a destination, price range, the dates of the vacation, and the type of vacation. The system would refresh information about the packages daily or weekly.
