A WebDB site not only provides information to its users, but also includes all the tools needed to manage and maintain the site itself. When WebDB site users first display a site, they can only view public information. Users with a valid user name and password can log on to the site and view information that they have been explicitly granted access to view. In addition, if users have been granted the appropriate privileges, they can switch to Edit Mode and add new information to the site, or edit existing information. |
