WebDB sites are contained entirely within an Oracle database. The first step of the site building process is allocating space for the site in the database. To do this, the DBA uses the Site Creation Wizard provided with Oracle WebDB.

Because the site is stored in the database, when the database is backed up, so is the site and all its contents. It's just as easy to move the site to a different server. Simply export the schema that owns the site, and import the schema into a database on a different server.
