Creating a New Virtual Business Component

You create a new VBC in Siebel Tools.

To create a new virtual business component

1. Start Siebel Tools.
2. Lock the appropriate project.
3. Create a new record in the Business Component list applet in Siebel Tools.
4. Name the business component.
5. Select the project you locked in Step 2.
6. Set the Class to the CSSBCVExtern class. This class provides the VBC functionality.
