Setting Up a Partner Program
The brand owner needs to set up the partner program that will appear on the PRM Portal. This task is a step in Setting Up Partner Programs. To set up a partner program (brand owner)
- Log in to PRM Manager and navigate to Site Map > Partner Programs screen > Program Design view.
- Create a new program.
- In the Type field, select Program.
- To make this program public (no eligibility rules), click the Available To All check box.
- To give a partner the capability to apply on behalf of a branch organization, click the Delegated Application check box.
- To give branch organizations the capability to be automatically approved when the parent organization is approved, click the Auto Cascade check box.
- For example, if the Headquarters of a company is approved, the Western Branch, Eastern Branch and MidWest Branch will also be approved.
- Drill down on the program name and on the More Info tab, and complete the fields.
- In the Approval Method field, select a method.
- If this is a partner program that will approve all applicants automatically, select Approve All.
- If this is a partner program in which applicants listed on a Approval Eligible list automatically, select Approval List.
- If this is a partner program in which approvals will be done manually in the Application Inbox, select Manual.
- If you change the status of a partner program to Active, the record becomes Read-Only.
NOTE: After you save the Partner program record, Siebel Partner Manager automatically creates an access group with a name that is the combination of the partner program name and the organization name. Siebel Partner Manager automatically maintains this Access Group by adding or removing Access Group members based on the partners' membership status within that partner program.
