Adding Alter Sound User Properties to the Siebel Handheld Application

Different sounds can be associated with the five different alert levels by specifying the .wav file in the application user properties.

To add alter sound user properties to a Siebel Handheld application

  1. In the Siebel Tools Object Explorer, choose Application > Application User Properties.
  2. Select your Siebel Handheld application from the Application list.

For example, Siebel HH LS Medical.

  3. Insert the following new records into the Application User Properties list:
    • WiMeAlertMessage_1_Sound
    • WiMeAlertMessage_2_Sound
    • WiMeAlertMessage_3_Sound
    • WiMeAlertMessage_4_Sound
    • WiMeAsyncMessage_Sound
  4. Set the value for each user property to the name of a .wav file that exists on your particular handheld device.

Available .wav files are determined by individual device manufacturers. Consult the documentation that accompanied your handheld device.
