Adding Store-and-Forward Messaging Views to the Handheld Application

The following task details how to add Store-and-Forward Messaging Views to your Siebel Handheld application.

To add Store-and-Forward Messaging views to the application

1. In the Siebel Tools Object Explorer, navigate to the Screen object.
2. Create a new record, or copy the SHCE Service Hidden Views Screen and modify it according to the steps below.
3. Add the following views to the hidden views screen created in the previous step:
   • SHCE Async Query List view
   • SHCE Wireless Alerts List view

     These two views have been created by default and are available for use. You need to configure an Asynchronous Query Results view and an inaccessible view for unsupported business components in the tasks which follow. Make sure you have added these newly created views into the hidden views screen, as detailed in this task. 4. In the Object Explorer, expand the Application list then choose Screen Menu Item. Add the newly created screen.
