Enabling Components on a Siebel Server

This topic describes enabling Siebel Server components on a Siebel Server. For background information on enabling and disabling server components, see About Enabling and Disabling Siebel Server Components.

To enable a component on a Siebel Server

1. From the application-level menu, choose Navigation > Site Map > Administration - Server Configuration.
2. From the link bar, click Servers.
3. In the Siebel Servers list, select the Siebel Server of interest.
4. In the Components list, select the server component you want to enable.
5. Click the Enable button.

   The Enable State field of the component record changes to Enabled.

NOTE:  If the server component is not available in the Server Manager GUI, enable the server component from the Server Manager command-line interface program. For information on that command, see Component Management Commands.
