Conducting Calls for Accounts


You can manage a customer account call from the Account Call page, which includes a number of views:

  • Call Details. Displays the Call Detail page, where you can record specific information about the call. The Call Details page appears by default.
  • Attendees (for Siebel CRM). Displays the Attendees table for the account.

    NOTE:  Attendees are the people attending a meeting or participating in a call.

  • Detail Products. Displays the Detail Products page, where additional product details are maintained.

The following buttons are available along the bottom of the Call page:

  • Launch Detailer. Displays the Detailer Start page with the Personal Content Delivery presentation. For detailed information on PCD presentations, see Delivering a Personalized Content Delivery Presentation.

    By default, Launch Detailer is inactive if any of the following conditions apply:

    • There is no appointment scheduled.
    • The appointment has already been submitted.
    • There is no contact assigned to this account call.
  • Submit. Changes the activity status to Submitted, and prevents further editing of the Call page.

    By default, Submit is inactive if any of the following conditions apply:

    • There is no appointment scheduled.
    • The appointment has been submitted already.
    • There is no contact assigned to this account call.
    • The appointment due date is in the future.
    • There are no detail products.
    • One or more dropped samples exist but do not have a signature.
