Conducting Calls for Contacts
You can manage a customer contact call from the Professional Call page, which includes a number of tabbed views:
- Call Details. Displays the Call Detail page, where you can record specific information about the call. The Call Details page is displayed by default.
- Samples. Displays the Samples page, where you can manage information on product samples that you might drop to the contact.
- Promo Items. Displays the Promotional Items page, where you can manage information on promotional items that you might drop to the contact.
- Detail Products. Displays the Detail Products page, where the product details reviewed with a customer are maintained.
- Presentations. Displays a presentation that shows the product details to a contact.
The following buttons appear at the bottom of the Professional Call:
- Launch Detailer. Displays the Detailer Start page with the Personal Content Delivery presentation. For detailed information on using the Detailer see Delivering a Personalized Content Delivery Presentation.
By default, Launch Detailer is inactive if any of the following conditions apply:
- There is no appointment scheduled.
- The appointment has already been submitted.
- Get Signature. Displays the signature capture function.
By default, Get Signature is inactive if any of the following conditions apply:
- There is no appointment scheduled.
- The appointment has been signed or submitted.
- The appointment due date is not today's date.
- There are no samples dropped.
- Submit. Changes the activity status to Submitted and prevents further editing of the Call page.
By default, Submit is inactive if any of the following conditions apply:
- There is no appointment scheduled.
- The appointment has been submitted already.
- The appointment due date is in the future.
- There are no detail products.
- One or more dropped samples exist but do not have a signature.
