Setting User Preferences


You can use Settings on the application banner to set or change your user preference settings.

To set your user preferences

  1. Click Settings on the application banner.
  2. In the General tab, you can update the following fields:
    • Datasource. Select a data source from the list of available data sources.
    • Language. Select a language from the list of available languages.
    • Skin. Select a skin to use for the Sales application from the list of available skins. A skin is a collection of images and a definition file, which together describe the interface.
  3. In the Miscellaneous tab, you can update the following fields:
    • Show Help. Select this check box to enable embedded help in the Sales application. For more information on the embedded help, see User Assistance.
    • Log Level. Select the log level (1 to 5), where 1 provides the least detailed log messages, but it provides the best performance. Five (5) provides the most detailed log messages.
    • Suppress Msgs. Select this check box to suppress application warning messages for the Sales application.
  4. Click Apply to save your changes.
