Stopping and Starting Services When Importing a Repository (Windows Only)

Before copying or loading a new repository file to a server, you must stop the Siebel Analytics Server and World Wide Web Publishing services. The order in which the services are stopped, then restarted, is important. Use the following sequence.

To stop the services after importing or copying a repository

1. Stop the World Wide Web Publishing service.
2. Stop the Siebel Analytics Server service.

To start the services after importing or copying a repository

1. Start the Siebel Analytics Server service.
2. Start the World Wide Web Publishing service.
