Process of Configuring Apache Tomcat Web Server (Windows)

Apache Tomcat, a Java servlet engine and Java Server Pages processor, may be configured to work in conjunction with the Apache HTTP Server.

To configure Siebel Analytics Web on an Apache Tomcat server, perform the following tasks:

1. Install the required software.

   See Installation Sequence for Apache Tomcat (Windows). For the details of the installation process, refer to documentation for the Apache HTTP Server and Apache Tomcat software.

   NOTE:  The software for running Apache Tomcat under Windows is available over the Internet. Check Siebel System Requirements and Supported Platforms on Siebel SupportWeb for necessary versions of the software.

2. Install and configure Siebel Analytics on the Tomcat Web server.
3. Test the Tomcat Web server installation.
