Checking the Status of a Session

An activity is created for each Web collaboration session. The caller is the primary contact of the activity and the agent who accepts the call is the primary owner. You can check the status of a Web collaboration session. The status can have one of the following values:

  • Requested. The caller has requested the session, but the agent has not yet joined.
  • Cancelled. Before the agent joins the session, the caller closes the pop-up window that the caller has been cautioned to not close or the meeting will be cancelled.
  • In progress. Both the agent and the caller are logged in to the session.
  • Done. The session is terminated.

To check the status of a Web collaboration session

  1. Choose View > Site Map > Communications.
  2. From the Show drop-down list, choose My Web Collaboration Activities or All Web Collaboration Activities, if it is available.

The Web Collaboration Activities list appears.

  3. In the Web Collaboration Activities list, navigate to an activity record.

The record provides statistics for the session, including its status.
