Setting Up a Siebel Universal Queuing Configuration for Web Collaboration

You must do the following high-level tasks to set up a Universal Queuing (UQ) configuration for Web collaboration.

NOTE:  For specific information about setting up UQ configurations, see Siebel Universal Queuing Administration Guide.

• Create a UQ configuration and designate it as the primary configuration.
• Create a channel of type Web Collaboration and add at least one property, SiebelChannelType, to the channel.
• Create a route of type Web Collaboration and add at least one property with the following field values and one escalation rule:
  • Property Name: SiebelChannelType
  • Relation: ~
  • Property value: Web*
• Assign employees (agents) to the Web collaboration channel you create.
