Setting Up a Communications Configuration for Web Collaboration


You must do the following high-level tasks to set up a communications configuration for Web collaboration.

NOTE:  For specific information about setting up communications configurations, see Siebel Communications Server Administration Guide.

  • Create a communications configuration.
  • Create a driver of type Web Collaboration or use the default library sscmimed.dll.
  • Create a profile for the driver and override the driver parameters if necessary.
  • Add the profile to the configuration.
  • Specify the name of the UQ configuration as a parameter of the communications configuration.
  • Assign agents to the communications configuration.

Default Communications Configurations Related to Web Collaboration

Communications configuration commands and event handlers are configurable. You are provided the following default commands and event handlers for Web collaboration as part of your Siebel applications installation.
