Confirming Installation Requirements


The following installations and licensing must be completed before installing Siebel eCollaboration:

  • Siebel Gateway
  • Siebel Server
  • Web server, including Siebel Web Engine
  • License for a Siebel employee application, such as Siebel Call Center or Siebel Service
  • Siebel CTI license, if agents use CTI
  • License for a Siebel customer application, for example Siebel eService
  • CTI middleware, if telephone functions are managed by the agent's computer and if agents use Siebel CTI
  • Siebel Universal Queuing

Communications Management server component group must be enabled to allow communications session management.
