Creating a Salary Grade


As an administrator, you create salary grades as the first step in establishing salary ranges within the organization.

This task is a step in Process of Setting Up Compensation Planning.

To create a salary grade

  1. From the application-level menu, choose Navigate > Site Map > Administration - Compensation Planning> Compensation Plan Salary Administration.
  2. From the visibility filter, select Salary Grades.
  3. In the Salary Grades list, add a new record, and then complete the name and description fields.
  4. Select the check box in the Active field to activate the salary grade.
