Creating a Salary Plan

Salary plans define the salary range as defined by each salary grade. To create the association between an employee and a salary range, a salary plan, and a salary grade is specified for each employee.

This task is a step in Process of Setting Up Compensation Planning.

To create a salary plan

  1. From the application-level menu, choose Navigate > Site Map > Administration - Compensation Planning > Compensation Plan Salary Administration.
  2. From the visibility filter, select Salary Plans.
  3. In the Salary Plans list, add a new record, and then complete the name and description fields.
  4. In the Salary Plan record, select the check box in the Active field to activate the salary plan.
