Making Products Eligible for Design Registration

When internal salespeople or distributors begin to sell components to OEMs, they register designs using those components.

For salespeople or distributors to be able to register designs that use specific components produced by the supplier, the supplier must make those components eligible for design registration.

To make components eligible for design registration

1. Navigate to the Administration - Product screen > Products view.
2. Query for the product you want to make eligible and drill down on the product name.
3. Click the More Info view tab and then select the Design Registration Eligible check box.
