Adding a Credit to a Program Account


Credits must be created manually for each program account. Credits make funds available to resellers.

NOTE:  Co-op program credits are incentive-based while MDF program credits are discretionary.

To create a credit

  1. Navigate to the MDF Program Accounts screen > Program Accounts view.
  2. Drill down on the program account record for the partner to whom you want to provide a credit.
  3. Click the Checkbook (RW) view tab and add a new record.
  4. Complete the necessary fields. Some fields are described in the following table.
    Field
    Comments

    Type

    Indicates the nature of the credit. Values available are: Accrual, Adjustment, and Re-instatement.

    Sub Type

    Further indicates the nature of the credit. Values available are: Earned or Discretionary.

    Market

    Market segments relevant to this partner.

    Amount

    Amount of the credit.

    Period Posted

    Period during which this credit is posted.

    Expiration Date

    Date this credit is no longer available for the partner's use.

    Repeat for each partner or program account for which you want to provide a credit.
