Creating Function Space Categories for Property

A function space category is a group of specific spaces at a property with common characteristics, usually related to capacity. The groupings can consist of indivisible space and configured space. For example, an administrator can define function space categories such as Small Meeting Room, Medium Meeting Room, and Large Meeting Room with corresponding specific spaces.

Setting up function space categories simplifies room bookings. During the booking process, customers typically do not mind in which room a function is held, as long as a room with sufficient capacity and square footage is guaranteed.
