Verifying Successful Installation of Siebel Tools

Verify that installation was successful by connecting to the Siebel Database Server and entering your license key for Siebel Tools.

To verify that the installation completed successfully

1. Start Siebel Tools and log on to the Siebel Database Server.

   The first time you log on, the system prompts you to enter a license key number, if you have not done so already. If this is the case proceed to Step 2.

2. Type your license key number in the dialog box that appears, and click OK.

   You can find the license key assigned to your site in your license key letter, provided in the DVD case or within an MS Word document if you have used FTP to download the software. For detailed information about license keys, see Applications Administration Guide.
