About Database Growth Estimates

Database upgrade is resource intensive. If the upgrade exceeds available resources, the upgrade halts. You must then resolve resource issues before resuming the upgrade.

For estimates of growth percentages for specific RDBMS platforms and releases, see Table 9.

Actual expected growth may vary widely from these estimates, depending on which Siebel application you are using (Siebel eBusiness application or Siebel Industry application), database configuration, row size of tables, and data content.
