The eCollaboration Toolbar
The Siebel eCollaboration toolbar resides in the agent's eCollaboration cobrowser and in the caller's cobrowser. eCollaboration allows the agent to control the session, so the agent's toolbar provides more options.
Figure 1 shows the main panel of buttons in the agent's eCollaboration toolbar. The caller has the subset of buttons to the left of the divider line. The End Session button is on the right end of the agent's and the caller's toolbar, separated from the main panel.
The following eCollaboration toolbar buttons are provided to the agent and to the caller:
- Back. Go to the last Web page visited.
- Forward. Go to the Web page from which the Back button was last clicked.
- Pause. Suspend page-pushing to the other party. Click again to resume.
- Refresh. Update the current Web page.
- End Session. End the eCollaboration session.
The following eCollaboration toolbar buttons are provided only to the agent:
- Download. Download Present mode plug-in to the caller. The download plug-in checks both on the caller's and the agent's machines for an existing installation of eCollaboration client software. If a previous installation is not found, then the caller, the agent, or both are prompted to confirm acceptance of the download.
- Present. Assume Present mode. The agent and the caller view the agent's desktop imagery only. A capture frame controlled by the agent determines what imagery is viewed. Click again to end Present mode.
- Attend. Assume Attend mode, so that the caller can present. The agent regains Present mode by clicking the attend button again.
- Show Pointer. The cursor on the current presenter's desktop appears. Click again to end cursor display.
- Voice over IP. Invoke Voice over IP mode so both participants can communicate through the computers' microphones and speakers. This icon appears only if the caller requests a voice over IP session.
