List of Values Types for Event Parameters

This section describes modifying List of Values types for parameters for event handlers, event responses, and event logs.

List of Values Type for Event Handler Parameters

If you are implementing a custom communications driver, you must modify the List of Values type for the Name field in the Event Handler Parameters applet, to put the values required for your driver in the associated drop-down list. The Event Handler Parameters applet appears in the All Event Handlers view, in the Communications Administration screen. Modify the List of Values type named COMM_EVTHNDLR_PARAM.

List of Values Type for Event Response Parameters

If you are implementing a custom communications driver, you must modify the List of Values type for the Name field in the Event Response Parameters applet, to put the values required for your driver in the associated drop-down list. The Event Response Parameters applet appears in the All Event Responses view, in the Communications Administration screen. Modify the List of Values type named COMM_EVTRESP_PARAM.

List of Values Type for Event Log Parameters

If you are implementing a custom communications driver, you must modify the List of Values type for the Name field in the Event Log Parameters applet, to put the values required for your driver in the associated drop-down list. The Event Log Parameters applet appears in the All Event Logs view, in the Communications Administration screen. Modify the List of Values type named COMM_EVTLOG_PARAM.
