Dispatch Activity Message Sent to Field Service Representative

When a dispatch agent assigns an activity to a field service representative and the Outbound Wireless Messaging Activity Dispatch Policy workflow policy is triggered, data is extracted from the activity in order to send the wireless message to the field service representative.

Each outbound wireless message in a two-way wireless messaging scenario is preformatted using a standard set of labels and data for each activity. For the default workflows, each message is similar to the example below:

!B! A#: 1-4GTB Dsc: Replace Scan Unit Pr: 2-High
Ac: AcquaMarine Fisheries C: Jacques Andre
Ph: (331) 456-7890 PS: 04/18 05:00 PM !E!

The outbound wireless message contains the following configurable elements:

NOTE:  The Comments field of the dispatch activity record is also used to log errors received from the applicable workflows. This may be helpful for troubleshooting purposes.
