Create a Data Map

Create a data map with a name that matches the appropriate data map name in the dispatcher map entry. The wizard generates default names for data maps using a mnemonic to assist in identifying which map to use for a given purpose. Table 31 explains the mnemonic used in the default data map names. You can change the data map names, but make sure the dispatcher map entry refers to the correct data map.

Table 31. Mnemonic Used in the Default Data Map Names

NOTE:  For details on creating data maps, see Business Processes and Rules: Siebel eBusiness Application Integration Volume IV.

You can use the existing VCML data maps as a guide. There are four preconfigured data maps that you can review in the Integration Administration > Data Map Editor view. By querying for Health* in the Name column, you can find the four preconfigured VCML data maps. Note that you only need to create data maps for the scenario you are implementing.
