Adding a Split Revenue


A revenue split allows an end user to forecast an opportunity revenue that is split between multiple sales representatives. Split revenues can only be added from the Opportunities screen.

To set up a revenue split

  1. From the application-level menu, choose View > Site Map > Opportunities > My Opportunities.
  2. Click the Revenues view tab.
  3. From the Show drop-down list in the Revenues view, choose Splits.
  4. Click New.
  5. Complete the appropriate fields. For information on the fields, see Adding a New Revenue to an Opportunity.
  6. NOTE:  Once a revenue split record is created, a read-only split flag is checked in both the parent opportunity and the revenue line item. To include or exclude these records from a forecast, craft the forecast's search specs accordingly. For information about creating search specs, see Creating Search Specs for Forecast Series (Administrator).
