Process for Creating Compensation Plan Elements
The following section describes the process a compensation administrator might follow to create plan elements. Your company may follow a different process according to its business requirements.
Administrator Procedures
The compensation administrator performs the following tasks to create compensation plan elements.
- Creates Plan Rule Rate Table. The administrator defines how compensation is paid for each plan rule. For more information, see Creating a Plan Rule Rate Table.
- Creates Multipliers. The administrator defines multipliers for plan rules. For more information, see Creating a Multiplier.
- Defines Draws. The administrator sets up default draws, and establishes different draws for some plan participants. For more information, see Creating a Draw for a Compensation Plan.
- Creates Target Incentives. The administrator creates target incentives to determine the payout for a plan participant. For more information, see Creating a Target Incentive.
