Types of Notifications
Notification includes delivery of messages through email and wireless devices. You can choose to send all or none of the following notifications:
- Registration Confirmation/User Welcome Notification
- Modified Profile/User Status Notification
- Auction Alert Notification
- Bid Notification
- Outbid Notification
- Partial Outbid Notification
- AutoBid Executed Notification
- Winning Notification
- Lister's Auction Closed Notification
- Lister Invoice Closed Notification
NOTE: The
eAuc:AuctionURLRootsystem preference can be used as a substitution parameter in email messages. Its default value is http://www.<yourDomain>.com. When eAuction is installed, you can update this value to the URL for your eSales site (without the /eSales suffix). This allows email notices to supply a URL link back to the site.
