Modified Profile/User Status Notification
When a user has a Pending Approval status, and an administrator updates the user's status, the user receives a user status notification by email or wireless, according to the user's preference selections.
Also, when a user changes one of his or her own profile settings, the user receives a user status notification by email or wireless, according to the user's preference selections.
The email notice contains a salutation, the user's current registration status, and a URL link to the auction site. The wireless notice contains the message "Your user status has changed!"
The following list describes the types of modifiable user status for a user:
- If the user's status was Bidding Pending Approval, the new status will be either Bidding Approved or Bidding Denied.
- If the user's status was Listing/Bidding Pending, the new status will be Listing Approved (implies that bidding has been approved), Bidding Approved, or Listing/Bidding Denied.
- If the user's status was Listing Pending, the new status will be either Listing Approved (implies that bidding has been approved) or Listing Denied (implies that bidding has been approved).
