Adding a Web Site Address

Domain addresses are usually easier to remember for people to remember when accessing a site than folder addresses are. Adding domain addresses can then make your site easier to access.

To add a Web site address, perform these steps:

  1. Log in to the content server as an administrator.

  2. In the Administration section, select Site Studio Administration.

The Site Studio Administration page is displayed (see Site Studio Administration). If you run Content Server in the Top Menus layout, you do not see this page. Instead, all administration options are then items in the Site Studio Administration menu.

  3. Click Manage Web Site Addresses.

The Web Site Addresses page is displayed (see Web Site Addresses Page).

    Note:

You can also use the Site Address dialog in Site Studio Designer to configure domain addresses.

  4. Select a Web site and enter an address. For domain addresses, enter the entire URL.

  5. Click Add.

The Web site address is displayed at the top of the page.
