When web addresses for the Web sites have been entered, a default web address for a given Web site can be selected, and an existing default web address can be removed as the default. The default web address is the first address listed when Web sites are listed in Site Studio.
Selecting a Default Web Address
To make a Web site address as the default, perform these steps:
Log in to the content server as an administrator.
In the Administration section, select Site Studio Administration.
The Site Studio Administration page is displayed (see Site Studio Administration).
Click Manage Web Site Addresses.
The Web Site Addresses page is displayed (see Web Site Addresses Page). If you run Content Server in the Top Menus layout, you do not see this page. Instead, all administration options are then items in the Site Studio Administration menu.
In the list of Web site addresses, click the actions icon next to the address.
From the menu, select Select as Default Web Address.
The default web address is displayed in bold.
Deselecting a Default Web Address
To deselect a Web site address as the default, perform these steps:
Log in to the content server as an administrator.
In the Administration section, select Site Studio Administration.
The Site Studio Administration page is displayed (see Site Studio Administration). If you run Content Server in the Top Menus layout, you do not see this page. Instead, all administration options are then items in the Site Studio Administration menu.
Click Manage Web Site Addresses.
The Web Site Addresses page is displayed (see Web Site Addresses Page).
In the list of Web site addresses, click the actions icon next to the address.
From the menu, select Deselect as Default Web Address.
The default web address is no longer displayed in bold.
