Deleting Content in SharePoint and the Content Server

When a content item has been promoted to the Content Server, it can no longer be edited in the SharePoint system. A link remains to enable viewing the content item in the Content Server.

To delete a content item link in SharePoint and delete the content item in Content Server, follow these steps:

1. Select the Document Library where the page is stored from the list on the SharePoint All Site Content Screen.

   The Library Listing Screen is displayed.

2. Rest your cursor on the content item to be deleted.

   The Web Part Menu is displayed.

3. Select Delete from SharePoint and Oracle UCM from the menu. This deletes the link in the SharePoint library and deletes the document in Content Server.
