When a content item has been promoted to the Content Server, it can no longer be edited in the SharePoint system. The item is viewable, but cannot be changed until it is brought back for editing.
To return a content item to SharePoint, follow these steps:
Select the Document Library where the page is stored from the list on the SharePoint All Site Content Screen.
The Library Listing Screen is displayed.
Rest your cursor on the content item to be returned.
The Web Part Menu is displayed.
Click Unlink from Oracle UCM. This option appears for those items which have been promoted and are now available to be returned.
The content item is checked out from the Content Server, and the link in the SharePoint library is replaced with the most recent version of the content item.
