Attaching Batch Notes

Notes provide a way of highlighting and storing information about a specific batch. You might enter a note, for example, if you need to append pages to a batch later, or want to highlight something for the person who will be indexing the batch.


Note:

You enter and use notes the same way in Scan and Index. Notes you enter in Scan are displayed in Index, and vice versa.

If a batch has a note attached to it, a push pin appears on the note symbol.
