Groups are key to managing access to entities published to the registry. Any registry user can create a group and add or remove users from it.

When it comes time to update security permissions, using groups instead of users simplifies policy management. They are logical sets of user accounts that should have similar permissions to view, get, modify and delete entities and information published to the registry.
