Using Skins and Styles

While skins and styles are typically used to customize the look and feel of reports and dashboards by providing logos, color schemes, fonts, table borders and other elements, they can also be used to control the position of such elements as the paging controls by including specialized style tags in the relevant style sheet (.css) file. For example, the page control "tape deck" appears, by default, centered and below a table. You can control whether the tape deck appears below or above the table (or does not appear at all) by editing the table properties for the target results. By using a specialized style tag, however, you can also control the justification of the page control. For example, if you have a very wide table, a centered page control might require the user to scroll to the right before it is displayed. By including the following specialized style tag in the relevant skin or style sheet (.css) file, you can change the justification to the left.
