Configuring LDAP and ADSI Authentication in Siebel Analytics
If you use an LDAP server to authenticate your users, follow these procedures. The process of LDAP and ADSI authentication involves the following tasks:
- Confirming that IBM's GSKit (Global Security Kit) is installed and configured. GSKit provides the support for Secure Sockets Layer. (Refer to the supported version of the Java runtime engine in Siebel System Requirements and Supported Platforms.)
This book assumes you already have GSKit installed. If it is not, see the section Installing and Uninstalling GSKit.
- Configuring GSKit.
Use the GSKit utility IkeyMan to create a key database file, and store it under Siebel Analytic configuration directory.
- Generating a CMS Key Database File.
- Setting Up LDAP Authentication.
