Siebel Analytics Server Administration Guide > Setting Up Disconnected Analytics >
Creating the Disconnected Application Configuration File
The disconnected application configuration file names all the Disconnected Analytics elements required to use Siebel Disconnected Analytics. This file does not contain any data. The Disconnected Analytics Application Manager gets all its information from this application configuration file.
The application configuration file is an XML file that must contain references to the following application elements:
- Name of the application
- Pointer to the sourcing report in the Siebel Analytics Web Catalog
- Pointer to the disconnected repository and disconnected Web Catalog
- Pointer to the DDLs that create the tables and index
- Specification of data sets and their table groupings
You have to create a unique application configuration file for each Disconnected Analytics application. For information about where the application configuration file is stored, see Creating the Disconnected Application Directories.
NOTE: If you purchased Disconnected Analytics to use with your Siebel Pharma application, the application configuration file is preconfigured.
