BEA eLink for Mainframe SNA 3.1 Information Center

BEA eLink for Mainframe SNA was formerly called BEA Connect SNA. The new name appears in text throughout the product documentation. However, the old Connect SNA name may appear in screen displays and code listing examples. Both names refer to the same product. Please bear with us while we update our documents, screens, and system messages completely with the new name.

New Product Features

This release of BEA eLink for Mainframe SNA includes the following new features:

Activating and De-Activating Links
Code Page Translation Tables
Programming Language String Transformation
CICS/VSE Sample Applications
Digital UNIX and SNA Stack support (Controlled Availability; refer to BEA eLink for Mainframe SNA Release Notes.)

Documentation Enhancements

This release of the product includes the following documentation enhancements:

A redesigned interface provides more direct access to topics.
An enhanced search applet to help you locate topics on the Documentation CD. You can now enter queries for strings that include periods "." and underscores "_". You can focus your searches by selecting the type of documents in which to search.
A new Printable Documents section, which provides PDF versions of the BEA eLink for Mainframe SNA Installation and User Guides.
