ContextProvider

This interface should be implemented to provide components with a valid JNDI context to use to tie into the application server.

Class Summary

ContextFactory

The ContextFactory gives application components a static interface to the ContextProvider in use, as specified by the context-provider property (named in the System properties or in the preferences file).

JNDI Context Access

This package provides applications with static access to the JNDI tree for this runtime.

Notable Classes

• Class ContextFactory

  Used to get access to a JNDI Context. Can be configured to use an application-defined ContextProvider.

• Class ContextProvider

  Plugin to the ContextFactory. Applications can define a ContextProvider if the default ContextFactory behavior of creating a new InitialContext does not suffice.
